EXCEL COUNTIFS

The Countifs is an Excel function to count cells in a range that meets one specified or more specified criteria.
Syntax:
=Countif(criteria_range1,criteria1,criteria_range2,criteria2,…….)
Arguments or Parameters:
  • criteria_range1: a range of cells or an array.
  • criteria: specify the condition in which cells should be counted.
Objective: Find the count of Product Dell sold by Barry Johnson in K3 cell.
      Step 1:
  • Type = sign in cell K3.
  • Type Countifs Function
          Step 2:
  • Select range E3:E22
  • Type “,”
    Step 2:
  • Select I3
  • Type “,”
Step 3:
  • Select range F2:F22
  • Type “,”
  • Select J3
  • Close bracket with “)”
  • Press Enter
Conclusion: The COUNTIF formula has counted that Barry Johnson sold 4 Dell products..
