EXCEL ABSOLUTE REFERENCE

EXCEL ABSOLUTE REFERENCE refers to a fixed or unchanging reference to a specific cell or range of cells in a                          spreadsheet formula. When you use an absolute reference in a formula, it means that the reference will not change              when you copy or drag the formula to other cells. In other words, it remains constant.
we can use the dollar sign ($) before the column and row references.

In this example, we will calculate the discounted price for each player. To do this, we will lock the discount mentioned in cell E7 by adding a dollar sign ($).
Note: We can see that when we multiply cell D5 by E7, it is locked with a dollar sign.
