EXCEL AVERAGEIFS

The AVERAGEIFS is an Excel function used to return the average (arithmetic mean) of all numbers in a range of cells, based        on multiple criteria.
Syntax:
            =AVERAGEIFS(average_range,criteria1_range,criteria1,[criteria2_range,criteria2,……])
Arguments Or Parameters:
  • averange_range a range of cells or an array.
  • criteria1_range: specify the condition which cells to average.
  • criteria1: It is the range of cells you want to average.
Objective: Find the average Price of Dell Products with Thomas Michaels in cell I3.

  • Type = sign in cell I3
  • Type AVERAGEIFS Function
    Step 2:
  • Select range E3:E22

     Step 3:
  • Select C3:C22
